The Alzheimer’s Networking Group

The Alzheimer’s Networking Group is an invitation only group of professionals, caregivers, volunteers, charities, and family members that are dedicated to working together to help shine a light for those dealing with the crisis of Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The Georgia Alzheimer’s Networking Group meets the LAST TUESDAY of every even numbered month at one of Georgia’s specialized Alzheimer’s care communities or charity locations.

The agenda of every meeting is NETWORKING BASED and family/caregiver friendly. First 30 minutes is self-guided networking with coffee and welcome, then a brief 15 minute featured Alzheimer’s Expert as a guest speaker, and concluding with 45 minutes of guided, rapid networking with individual announcements.

9:30am-10:00am Networking, Coffee, & Welcome (30min)

10:00am-10:15am Alzheimer’s Expert Guest Speaker (15min)

10:15am-11:00am Guided Rapid Networking Info Exchange/Announcements (45min)

The Intergenerational Alzheimer's Charity, Operation GoundHUG, is all about getting kids and seniors together to make awesome memories. The OGH mission is to teach kids and teens how to interact with seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia, and then set the stage for that to happen with a positive intergenerational event.
